The Kastehelmi range of glassware was designed by professor Oiva Toikka, one of the greatest names in Finnish glass, in 1964. The Finnish name Kastehelmi translates as ‘dewdrop’ referencing the circles of bubbles pressed into the glass of each piece. The surface of the glass seems to sparkle, mimicking the sheen of tiny dew drops that can be seen along stalks of grass and other plants on early summer mornings. The unusual texture of the glass is offset by smooth, clean shapes - the result is a contemporary, eye-catching range for your table.
